Cowden-Herrick Schools participates in the “Breakfast After the Bell” Program. We have always offered breakfast before the school day officially begins and will continue to provide this service. In addition, the “Breakfast After the Bell” program means breakfast is provided to all students after the instructional day has officially begun as well. We will be using the Second-Chance Breakfast option of this program. The breakfast serving period will be offered in the cafeteria following the first or second period of the day. This will accommodate students who may arrive after the official start time of the school day. Breakfast served will be the cook’s choice and will still meet the current nutrition standards.
